Optometrist Director
BSc(Hons) Optometry MCOPTOM

Sarah-Jane graduated from City University, London before moving to Norfolk for her professional exams. During this time she became very fond of Norfolk which has been her home ever since, she and now lives in North Norfolk with her partner Nicholas.

Sarah-Jane entered Optics after doing some work experience in an Independent Practice as a teenager and loved the personal patient care that was given, she has worked in various places since but always wanted her own practice.

Patient care is the aspect of Optometry she finds most rewarding and she has additional certification in local schemes for urgent eye care, post cataract assessments and glaucoma monitoring; during lockdown she set herself a further challenge and is currently studying with Ulster University to become a qualified Optometrist Prescriber so in the future she will be able to treat more eye conditions in practice which she hopes will support the local hospitals and be much more convenient for M Shepherd Optometrist patients too!.

Sarah-Jane looks forward to meeting you in practice!
