About Us
Long Stratton Eyecare (formerly M Shepherd Optometrist) was set up by Michael and Helen Shepherd in January 2012. Their aim was to provide excellent customer eye care from a small team of highly trained professionals who take pride in their roles and have a passion for their work. After years of running a successful friendly practice, Michael was looking for someone who shared his views and passion for the independent optometry and the practice was purchased by Sarah-Jane in November 2020.

Sarah-Jane
Sarah-Jane studied at City University London before moving to Norfolk for her professional exams. After working across North Norfolk for many years (and always wanting her own practice) she purchased M Shepherd Optometrist in Nov 2020.
Sarah-Jane spent 2021-2022 working through her Independent Prescribing Course and qualified in December 2022. Sarah-Jane undertakes all ocular health examinations for the practice and enjoys seeing new and returning patients.
